Wearingeul Fountain Pen Ink - 13 Children
I could have picked pretty much any of the Wearingeul inks to put in this list...perhaps we are in the honeymoon phase with this being a new brand though I suspect the reason is closer to the fact that each and every offering from Wearingeul has some unique characteristic which makes it an excellent choice. I chose '13 Children' partly because of the stunning rich colour but mostly because I liked the idea of having 13 children each gifting a Wearingeul ink...what a collection that would be!
13 Children is a much celebrated poem penned by Kim Hae-Gyeong, also known by his pen name Yi Sang.
Kim Hae-Gyeong was a writer and poet who lived in Korea under Japanese rule. He is well-known for his poems and novels, such as Crow's-Eye View and Wings. He is considered as one of the most important and revolutionary writers of modern Korean literature.
13 Children ink starts from a dark blue colour base but develops to a bluish-green with red sheen as the ink dries.
